Payment & Security:
We accept VISA, Delta, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Maestro and Electron.
All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable and are correct at the time of entering onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus any delivery charges.
You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We do not store any of your card details and all transactions are handled by HSBC Secure ePayments to ensure their security.
We also use 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all personal and sensitive data so that nobody can read it.
Although we take all reasonable care to keep your details secure, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our Website.
Delivery & Access:
Delivery is FREE anywhere in the mainland UK with the following post code exceptions:
IV, AB, PH, PA, KY, DD, EX, TA, TQ, PL, TR and parts of SA. Deliveries to these areas are handled by onward carriers and may incur a delivery charge of £45-£60. Please call for a quote before placing your order. Please be aware that orders which are handled by onward carriers also incur a longer delivery time frame, usually adding 5 to 10 additional days to the advertised delivery lead times.
We do not deliver outside the mainland UK, which includes Northern Ireland (BT post codes), Scottish islands, Channel islands, Isle of Man (IM post codes) and the Isle of Wight. We are also are unable to deliver to KW or BPFO addresses.
When placing your order please state any local street or parking restrictions as our carriers use large and sometimes articulated lorries for delivery. Please also inform us of any possible property access issues such as stairs, lifts and narrow doorways, as failed deliveries due to any of these access reasons will incur a £60 failed delivery fee.
Once your order is received by our carrier you will be contacted by a booking agent to arrange a delivery date. (Please note we only deliver Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays).
On the evening before your delivery, our carriers will call you with an AM or PM time slot and you can request a courtesy call up to an hour before delivery. This means you won’t have to stay at home all day, or take a day off work.
Our polite and professional 2 man delivery team will deliver into your room of choice and if you require they will unpack and assemble your furniture, and remove all packaging.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
ONCE A DELIVERY DATE HAS BEEN BOOKED YOU MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE DELIVERY ON THAT DAY. IF FOR SOME REASON THIS WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE YOU MUST PROVIDE US WITH AT LEAST 3 WORKING DAYS NOTICE, OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE A £60 RE-DELIVERY FEE PAYABLE BEFORE WE WILL RE-ARRANGE DELIVERY.
THE REASON FOR THIS CHARGE IS THAT YOUR ORDER COULD BE LOADED ONTO THE DELIVERY VEHICLE UP TO 2 DAYS BEFORE YOUR DELIVERY DATE, AND ONCE LOADED CANNOT BE UNLOADED. THEREFORE THIS INCURS A DELIVERY COST.
We use specialist furniture carriers to deliver all our furniture to ensure your order is handled appropriately. However, this does mean that it is not possible to request a specific time or date for your delivery. For example: Only being able to accept delivery on Fridays or after 4pm may not be possible. If you have any concerns or queries about this, please feel free to contact us on 0870 850 8471.
It may also be necessary for you accept the first delivery date offered if we are to meet any delivery deadlines.
Mattresses and pillows are sent separately using a standard courier service, which means we will not be able to provide you with an AM or PM delivery time slot, courtesy call or delivery to your room of choice. However, delivery is still FREE.
The availability of each product is stated on its information page. If an item is expected to take longer than advertised, we will contact you.
Your order will be dispatched when every item is available. This means the expected delivery date will be that of the longest lead time item. If you do not wish to wait, we recommend that you order each item separately.
For security reasons a signature is required upon receipt of your order. If no one will be available to sign for your delivery please supply an alternative address.
If you are out when our carrier attempts delivery your item/s will be returned to their warehouse and a £60 re-delivery fee will be payable before they can re-arrange delivery. To help avoid failed deliveries please ensure we have the correct contact information for that day. If you decide to cancel your order instead of having it re-delivered then your refund will be minus a £60 delivery fee.
Finally, we work hard to keep our delivery promises however delays can occur that are outside of our control. Furniture Choice will not be liable for any late or missed delivery.
In the unlikely event that that your order is delayed we will let you know as soon as possible.
Damage or Loss:
If your furniture arrives damaged, or the delivery crew damage your property, then you must call or email us immediately and sign the delivery note clearly stating the type and extent of the damage. We cannot accept responsibility for any damages reported to us at a later date.
Risk of damage to or loss of the products shall pass to you upon delivery.
Order Cancellation:
We will make every effort to fulfil your order however we reserve the right to cancel at any time and will not be liable to you or any third party. The reason for a cancellation could be due to one of the following reasons:

- You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria
You will be contacted as soon as possible if we have to cancel your order.
We also reserve the right to refuse any transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.

Returns & Refunds:

You can also return your order at a later date, up to 7 days from receipt, however there is a £60 collection charge that will be deducted from your refund.
Items must be returned unused, in a perfect and saleable condition and in their original packaging. Mattresses and sofa beds can only be returned if they are unopened. Any returned items not meeting these requirements will not be refunded and you will be requested to collect the item/s from our warehouse.
As the drivers may unpack your item/s in the lorry it is your responsability to request and retain the packaging if you think you may return the item/s within 7 days.
Try to avoid items being returned by checking all dimensions to ensure the item/s fit into their intended room/s and that you don’t have any access issues, such as narrow door frames or an awkward staircase. You must also check that there is suitable access for a large delivery vehicle to reach your address, which in some cases could be an articulated lorry. If you are unsure about any item please contact us before purchase as any returns due to inaccessibility will be refunded minus the £60 failed delivery fee.
If your item/s arrive damaged please call or email us immediately. It is your responsibility to inspect the item/s upon delivery noting any damage when signing the delivery note. We cannot accept responsibility for item/s reported damaged at a later date.
To arrange a return or refund please contact us on 0870 850 8471 (Mon-Fri 10-6, Sat 10-2) or email info@furniturechoice.co.uk. All refunds will be processed once the returned item/s are inspected back at our warehouse, within 30 days of the cancellation of your order.
