You’ve slaved all day in the kitchen, the table is set and your guests are about to arrive… this is not a good time to discover you are short of dining chairs.

Our step-by-step guide

The perfect fit
Before you buy, work out how many dining chairs you need to accommodate your family and fit around your current dining table. Most of our dining chairs will fit comfortably under a standard dining table (height 75cm) and all of our dining chair listings have detailed measurements, including seat height and depth.

Material world
The style of chair you choose will depend on both personal taste and your current colour scheme. With a wide range of traditional and contemporary dining chairs in wood, metal, leather and faux leather, a choice of different colours and seating options from high-scrolled to slatted backrests and curved skirts to chrome legs, you’re sure to find the perfect dining chair for your home.

Clean sweep
If you have a young family – or friends who are messy eaters! – you may prefer to choose a darker dining chair over a light colour. Our leather and faux leather seat pads are durable and easy to wipe clean and there’s information on caring for your chairs on our website. All of our dining chairs are British Standards tested for strength and stability.

Stacking up
If you are ordering spare chairs, check that you have somewhere convenient to store them. Some of our dining chairs can be stacked for easy storage.

Assembly line
Our dining chairs usually need some simple home assembly, although we do have a range of ready assembled chairs. Please speak to one of our helpful team on 0800 035 0070 if you’d like to know more.

FAQs
Q. What leather are the dining chairs upholstered in?
Most of our leather dining chairs are upholstered in either bonded madras leather with a matt/textured finish or bonded bycast (glossy) leather, which makes the dining chair affordable and hard wearing. We also have a range of chairs upholstered in high-quality aniline leather, where the patina of the hides has been enhanced by natural oils. Finally, there’s the option of faux leather on a variety of dining chair styles. Click through from any dining chair picture and you’ll get more information on the chair’s upholstery.
Q. What is bonded leather?
Bonded leather is an affordable way to enjoy the luxury of leather. Leather fibres are bonded with latex to a polyurethane top coat, making your dining chair both durable and easy to clean.
Q. Can I order odd numbers?
All of our chairs come in pairs, so you’ll need to order in multiples of two.
Q. Do the dining chairs come assembled?
Most of our chairs need a small amount of easy home assembly. However, we do have a range of modern stacking chairs that come ready assembled.
Q. How do I look after my dining chairs?
A leather care kit will ensure your chairs remain in the best condition through regular use. You can browse our selection online or call our team to discuss the most suitable for your choice of dining chair. Wooden chairs can be wiped clean with a warm, damp cloth.
Q. What guarantee do they come with?
All of our chairs come with a manufacturer’s guarantee of at least a year, which can be extended to up to five years.
Q. Do you send out samples?
If you’d like to see a swatch of the leather or faux leather used in our upholstery, click on your preferred dining chair and then click on ‘Request a swatch’. This will lead you to a simple form; once you’ve filled it out, your sample should arrive two to three working days later.
We are unable to send out samples of wood, but if you call our team on 0800 035 0070, they can talk you through the different types and colours of wood to make sure you choose the right one for you. Or you could send us a photo of your existing furniture to help get a close match.
Q. Will your dining chairs match my existing furniture?
With the wide range of choice we can offer, there is bound to be a dining chair to match your existing furniture. If after browsing our range you are still unsure, call free on 0800 035 0700 and a team member will be happy to help you.
Q. Do you have a showroom?
Our showroom is attached to our warehouse in Mirfield, between Huddersfield and Wakefield in West Yorkshire. If you’d like to drop by for a visit, you can find directions and opening hours here.
Q. What if I don’t like the chairs? Can I return them?
Your dining chairs can be returned if you notify us within seven days of receipt. Items must be unused and in a perfect, resalable condition and you will need to retain the original packaging. There will be small collection charge and delivery charges will not be refunded. Our full refund policy can be found here.
Q. How much do you charge for delivery and how long does it take?
Delivery is free to most of the UK. Many items are kept in stock at our warehouse and will be delivered 3-5 days after ordering; you can even choose your preferred delivery date at checkout. For a small fee you can plump for our Premium Delivery Service, which offers more flexibility on delivery times and an additional unpacking service. You can also collect your furniture from our warehouse in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, during our working hours.
